What to know before ordering: payment, delivery and returns.

Bab Zuweila is the name of this website. We sell khayamiya textiles and other craft pieces online, and have a physical shop on El-Khayamiya Street, opposite El-Kurdy Mosque, El-Darb El-Ahmar, Old Cairo, Egypt.
By using the website or placing an order, you agree to these terms. Egyptian law applies.
The collection includes wall hangings, poufs, cushion covers, runners, bags and lanterns. Read the individual listing for materials, measurements and what is included.
Handwork can vary slightly in colour, texture and stitching. These small differences do not affect your rights if an item is faulty or does not match its description.
Check the price and currency shown before ordering. Shipping is listed separately at checkout. Price changes do not affect orders we have already confirmed.
Orders through this website are currently paid in cash on delivery. Pay the courier the order total, including shipping. We do not accept cards, bank transfers or digital wallets at checkout, and do not ask for payment card details.
Allow 7–14 business days for preparation and delivery within Egypt. Contact us if you need an update on your order.
For delivery outside Egypt, contact us before ordering to confirm availability, cost and timing. Customs charges depend on the destination.
Poufs and cushion covers are sent without filling unless a local filled option has been agreed. Check the listing or ask us if you are unsure. You are responsible for looking after the package once it has been delivered and paid for.
For a standard piece, contact us within 14 days of delivery to request a return or exchange. Keep it unused, unwashed and unaltered, with its original packaging. Statutory exceptions may apply.
If a piece is faulty or does not match your confirmed order, contact us within 30 days of delivery for a replacement or refund, including shipping costs.
Pieces made to your chosen dimensions, colours or personal specifications cannot normally be returned unless faulty. Your rights under Egyptian Consumer Protection Law No. 181 of 2018 still apply.
Contact us before sending a return so we can arrange collection or provide instructions. Once we receive and inspect it, we will agree the refund method with you. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights.
Please ask for written permission before using our photographs, text, logos or graphics commercially. Copyright and other applicable rights remain with their owners.
If there is a problem with your order, get in touch using the details below. These terms and purchases through the website are governed by Egyptian law, with disputes subject to the courts of Cairo.
